Our club today

In the EMC are 78 members from 11 years up to more than 70 years in all types of the radio controlled modelbuilding at that time. We prosecute model aircrafts, ships and cars.

We do handycrafts in our own worshop at the airfield. There are experienced model builder who teach youth how to build a small glider with a wingspan of 4 feet without radio control. In our club are mainly glider and electric aircraft pilots.

Aircrafts with combustion engine have to pass a strong noise examination up to 75 dBA max.

Our airfield has the size of 2 hectares. At this meadow we maintain two runways, one 200 x 25 meters and one 65 x 25 meters.

 

Our proposal:
- instructions how to build all kind of models
- learning how to fly model aircrafts with instructor/student radio control and club-own aircrafts
- several take-off facilities for hand-launcher up to 12 feet glider.
- club tow-plane "Bully" for aerotow and piggyback
- for electric-powered aircrafts are electrical connections in our container-home
- internal competitions

Workshop instructions:
Wednesdays 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm for advancers
Thursdays 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm for beginners

after that every 1. and 3. Thursday 8:00 pm social evening at the airfield in our container-home, Kurzenmoor 4
