Aircraft-models with petrol engine need a low-noise-certificate for flights on our airfield. Therefore most of our models are electric powered. Modern elecric motors are very strong, in a wide range adjustable, have no problems to start and are nearly noiselessly.

Only for some uses are petrol engines the only alternative : for example aerotow for bigger gliders.

For aerotow we own a club-tow-plane for model gliders up to a weight of 6 kg. If necessary (for comptitions etc.) we have a private Cessna 188 crop duster and aerotow aircraft.
